What is a laminated card? What is the PVC/PET lamination process? |
|
The PVC/PET lamination process is the basic production process in card manufacturing industry. The card laminator uniting PVC layers together by certain press and heat. In this process, the PVC layers are semi-melting, and press together very solid, so the RFID card are completely water proof. For RFID card, the laminated layers inculde a RFID perlam(RFID inlay) in the middle of the card.
The laminated card usually means the final card surface(blank or per-printed) is protected by a transparent PVC layer, so the card surface will not be easily scratched. TSPRFID advise customer to choose this technics to make sure the card quality and life-span. |

What is the plastic ultrasonic welding? |
|
The Plastic ultrasonic welding is state-of-the-art technology. When welding our ABS, PC tag, the thermal rise in the bonding area is produced by the absorption of mechanical vibrations, the reflection of the vibrations in the connecting area, and the friction of the surfaces of the parts. The vibrations are introduced vertically. In the contraction area, frictional heat is produced so that material plasticizes locally, forging an insoluble connection between both parts within a very short period of time.

What is Twice injection moulding? |
|
Twice Injection moulding is a manufacturing process for producing LD series Laundry tag, and heavy duty tag, In the first injection, we produced the base part of the tag, then place the RFID transponder in the base part, while in the second injection, the tags are fill and moulded to finished product.
The twice injection moulded tag are solid to be very strong and tough. it can handle many extreme environment. |

What is the anti-metal layer? why we use it. |
|
The metal surface is a good reflective material of electromagnetic wave, when the normal RFID transponder placed on metal surface, the magnetic flux of the antenna area is zero, so the RFID transponder can not get any power from the reader.
In this case we put ferrite layer on the back side of the transponder to make sure the RFID transponder works well on metal surface. |
